Helping African-American parents and students to increase their love for learning and literacy through bi-monthly culturally affirming education and experiences.
Sankofa Scholars
3rd-8th Grade
Virtual courses and in-person workshops were created to build students' critical thinking while teaching African & African-American history, challenging cultural myths, and increasing their exposure to BIPOC authors in the speculative fiction genre.
Baadaye Scholars
9th-12th Grade
Weekly in-person learning/dialogue sessions that help teens challenge misconceptions of self and their culture in an effort to solidify their personal values and passions so they are better equipped to be change-makers in their schools and communities.

Private groups focus on support for black employee groups looking for a safe space and resources to navigate issues around being black in the educational workspace. Parent groups build community, share resources and learn how to advocate for the needs of their students.
